Plan details
Paid plans cover using File Storage to manage files for one website (unless your agreement says otherwise). Seat limits apply to team members covered by your license. Redistribution of the SDK without a license is prohibited.
SaaS products or isolated per-user storage on a single domain need an Enterprise / Managed Enterprise quote.

All paid users get support from the dashboard. Pre-sale questions are welcome before you buy.
Subscription
Cancel anytime. When the prepaid period ends, production API keys stop validating and premium unlocks are removed until you renew.

Is the playground really free?
Yes. You can open /demo and explore the UI with sample data at no cost. Production embeds require a paid API key - FileStorageSDK.mount({ apiKey }) will not unlock without an active paid plan.
What is the difference between BYO storage and Managed?
BYO: you keep Amazon S3 or an S3-compatible store on your account and pay a flat per-website license. Managed: we host buckets on File Storage AWS; you pay a base fee plus metered storage, egress, and API ops after the included pool.
How does this compare to $15/mo file-manager licenses?
Starter is $9/mo and Pro is $14/mo per website when you bring your own storage - competitive on price while covering the same base + premium feature surface. Managed plans add usage pricing because we pay the cloud bill.
What happens if someone embeds without paying?
The SDK stays locked. Every mount validates against api.filestorage.io. Free/playground accounts cannot issue production keys.
Do AWS credentials go in the browser?
Never. The SDK talks to your proxy (BYO) or our Managed API. Server-side keys stay off the client.
Extra seats and websites?
Starter and Pro include 5 seats and 1 website. Extra seats are $2.50/mo each (sold in packs of 5+). More websites = another license, or talk to us for Enterprise / SaaS multi-tenant quotes.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. When the prepaid period ends, production API keys stop validating and premium features unlock only after you renew.
SaaS / isolated tenant storage?
If you need per-customer isolated storage on one product domain, contact sales for an Enterprise or Managed Enterprise quote.
Taxes and invoices?
VAT or sales tax may apply based on your country and will appear at checkout. Invoices are issued for the prepaid period.
